More comfortable rooms and fewer hot spots along the perimeter.

Cut the heat and glare coming through your glass. LLumar solar control film helps offices, storefronts and campuses stay comfortable, protects interiors from fading, and eases cooling loads — without replacing a single window.
Signs your glass is costing you
How solar control film works
Solar control film is a thin, optically engineered layer applied to the inside of existing glass. It rejects part of the sun's heat and glare before it enters the space — so rooms stay more even in temperature and screens stay readable.
The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that about a third of a building's cooling load enters through windows. LLumar retrofits typically save 5 to 15 percent on energy. (Source: LLumar Commercial Architectural Film brochure.)
More comfortable rooms and fewer hot spots along the perimeter.
Less strain on HVAC, which can help reduce cooling costs.
Reduces damage to furniture, flooring and displays. No film stops fading completely.
You keep the views and natural light instead of closing the blinds.
Applied over existing glass, with installation planned around your operating hours.
LLumar films carry a manufacturer's limited warranty and are installed by trained professionals.
LLumar film families
We specify the film to the glass, the exposure and your goals — not from a shelf.
Impressive solar control with a mirror-like finish that reflects daylight — maximum heat and glare rejection.
Reflective exterior, neutral interior — significant solar control with clear views out, day and night.
Subtle, non-reflective gray films that deliver solar benefits with minimal change to the glass.
Virtually invisible solar control with maximum optical clarity — a strong fit for storefronts and historic buildings.
Less reflective appearance with excellent solar control, and durability that holds up in coastal air.
Tempers excessive heat and glare with low reflectance and a warm, earthy look.
Maximum heat protection with minimal light control — barely alters the look of the glass.
Lowers energy use year-round: reflects heat out in summer and insulates it in during winter.
Who it's for
Our process
We review glass orientation, panel size, existing film and access — and whether your priority is heat, glare or fading.
We match the film family and specification to your building and budget, with a clear written quote.
Work is coordinated around your hours to limit disruption to staff, tenants and customers.
We inspect every panel with you before we call it finished.
It depends on the film. We show you samples so you can choose how much light and reflectivity you want before anything is installed.
Savings depend on your glass, orientation and HVAC. LLumar retrofits typically save 5 to 15 percent on energy. (Source: LLumar Commercial Architectural Film brochure.)
It can with some window manufacturers, especially on dual-pane units. We check the glass type and the window manufacturer's requirements before we recommend a film.
It depends on the number and size of panels. A standard storefront can often be installed in one day, and we give you a schedule with your quote.

★★★★★
“This team did a fast and quick job. Everyone loves the tint and especially great for the heat control from the blazing sun shining in. Everyone should have some tint on their windows. I was way better than the blinds my landlord gave me.”
